In the 4x100m relay finals on Friday, August 9, the United States will attempt a double gold medal after both teams posted the fastest times on Thursday in Paris 2024.
The men’s team from the United States is hoping to atone for their defeat in Tokyo 2020. The USA placed sixth in their heat and missed out on the men’s 4×100-meter relay final three years prior.
Since then, they have made amends on the World Championship stage, taking home the gold in Budapest last year. Noah Lyles was a member of the winning foursome and is now aiming for another gold in Paris in 2024.
